Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fast cars and fast boats.
I wanted to incorporate the essence of who he was, in the celebration.
I kept it simple and uncluttered, with the expectation of many visitors, so they didn't need to wait in a long line.
I was later told my Madeleine that many of the people who attended, told her how lovely everything was.
That certainly made me happy for the family.
Mike and Madeleine's story was one of deep love and loads of great memories, I wanted to show that in a pictorial display that showed the evolution of their relationship.
I find black and white always looks so clean and sophisticated. Madeleine was happy, so I was too.
